OUR MANAGEMENT TEAM

Wu Jing

Co-founder, Board Director & CEO

A graduate of Peking University’s School of International Relations, Wu Jing leads House on the Hill in the overall direction and daily operation of the schools. An avid lover of calligraphy and photography coupled with a passion for childhood education, she is a believer of the Montessori method and how each child possesses unique talents waiting to be developed.

Oliver Bettin

Co-founder

Born and raised in the U.K, Oliver began his career in Finance, one that has taken him around the world. With a strong belief in developing children into global citizens to better our world, Oli founded House on the Hill together with his wife, Wu Jing, in 2012. Oli is active in community philanthropy including chairing an arts charity and spearheading over SGD 5 million in fundraising over the years.

Carly Twine

Deputy CEO

Carly Twine is a qualified Chartered Accountant. She started her career in Australia at a vocational education centre and at PricewaterhouseCoopers, before going on to hold senior positions in finance and energy organisations in London and Abu Dhabi. She is an enthusiastic advocate for the Montessori method following the preschool experience of her two sons in Singapore.

Marilyn Ow

Principal of Mount Sophia Centre

Marilyn is a graduate of the National University of Singapore and holds an International Montessori Diploma from London Montessori Centre. With over 20 years experience in pre-School education, Marilyn was instrumental in transforming the House on the Hill dream into a reality. Together with the founders, she shares the same vision in raising the standards in early childhood education.

Kelly Cai

Deputy Principal of Mount Sophia Centre

Kelly brings over 12 years in Early Childhood education to the House on the Hill team. She has a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education with a focus on Literacy. Believing in constant upgrading to go further in her career, she also boasts several diplomas in Early Childhood Care and Education and Montessori. Kelly obtained the latter after working with and seeing improvement in them with the Montessori Method. She enjoys watching dramas at home, and derives her strength and motivation from her family.

Nur Zamirah

Principal of Pasir Panjang Centre

Mira is an early childhood educator with over 15 years industry experience both locally and overseas. She has been leadership-trained since 2015 and counts a Diploma in Pre-School Education – Teaching and a Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education – Leadership amongst her educational qualifications. Before becoming Principal of House on the Hill Pasir Panjang in 2022, Mira provided leadership and support to her colleagues as a teacher for 4 years. Her steady approach and reflective nature make her approachable to all. As someone who enjoys learning new things, Mira is currently trying her best to learn the Cyrillic alphabet. She also finds gleeful satisfaction in colour-coding her wardrobe.

Sunshine Goh

Principal of Hollandse Club Centre

Sunshine has over ten years of experience in Early Childhood education. Being an early childhood educator has been her lifelong passion, and she holds a diploma in both in Early Childhood Education and Montessori Method of Education. For 8 years she was an invaluable senior teacher and curriculum lead with House on the Hill. In 2019 she became the principal at the Pasir Panjang centre. Sunshine lives up to her name and always has a smile on her face, especially when she is enjoying the great outdoors with a game of beach volleyball!

Nurul Fitton

Principal of Balmoral Crescent Centre

With her vibrant, friendly and nurturing personality, Nurul brings more than 30 years of experience in Singapore’s Early Childhood Education sector and more than a decade as a principal at a Montessori preschool. She joined House on the Hill Balmoral team with a wealth of knowledge and expertise. A passionate and dedicated educator, she has a Bachelor of Science, a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and a Diploma from Modern Montessori International. Outside of her professional life, Nurul is an avid freshwater fisherman, specialising in catfish angling. Her enthusiasm for the sport has taken her to various regions across Asia, Europe, and the Americas.

Hafizah Kamarudin

Deputy Principal of Balmoral Crescent Centre

Hafizah has been in the Early Childhood Education sector for more than 15 years and is the Deputy Principal of our Balmoral campus. She has been with House on the Hill Balmoral since the year we opened. She is a dedicated educator who loves interacting with children and currently assisting the School Principal with overseeing the school.
