COVID-19 SAFE MANAGEMENT MEASURES IN HOUSE ON THE HILL

As infection numbers in the community have steadily declined across all age groups since late July, the Multi-Ministry Taskforce (MTF) announced on 24 August 2022 that it will further ease community measures from 29 August 2022. In line with the national transition towards living with COVID-19, the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) has updated the safe management measures (SMMs) for preschools. Please refer to the attachment below for more details.

It is definitely a welcoming news and breather after 2 over years of SMMs. We will be looking forward to more parental involvement activities in school and will be throwing our doors open to HotH parents in the month of September! More details will be shared shortly!

Keeping preschools safe is a collective responsibility. Staff and parents are urged to follow the health protocols to safeguard the health and safety of all preschool children and staff. Staff/children shall not come to the preschool when unwell. Staff/children who are unwell or have had recent contact with an infected person are strongly encouraged to self-test using an Antigen Rapid Test (ART) kit. To support this, the Ministry of Health and ECDA will be distributing 10 ART kits to each staff and child in September 2022. In addition, a health declaration is required if your child has tested covid positive or had recent close contact with an infected person.

Thank you very much and we are looking forward to meeting all of you in-person once again!
