Being a Principal at House on the Hill, I see my role as more than just a job; it's a purpose! I’m proud to work together with my team of teachers to create a nurturing culture that encourages innovation and hands-on learning experiences in the classroom.

There is great fulfilment when I can see how children thrive under the guidance of our Montessori educators. House on the Hill has provided me with ongoing training workshops and conferences, allowing me to stay updated on the latest Montessori research and best practices. This continuous learning fuels my passion and keeps me inspired.

I have been working for House on the Hill for five years. I am both an assistant teacher and an art teacher and what I love most about working here is the sense of belonging. Although I live on the other side of the island, the journey is always worthwhile. The team is like a family and we support and care for one another, not only for the children but also for ourselves as educators.

Working at House on the Hill feels like being part of a big family. Our senior teachers, admin staff, and principal truly have each other’s backs. We collaborate, laugh, and grow together every day.

What I love most is how connected we are to the outdoors. Learning doesn’t just happen in the classroom. It happens in the garden, under the trees, and in every new adventure the children take on.

I am truly delighted to be a Mandarin teacher at House on the Hill Pre-school. Both the outdoor natural environment and the indoor spaces fully reflect respect for young children. Moreover, the school's emphasis on the "sensitive period" has helped me better understand the learning characteristics of young children and pay more attention to teach according to their individual needs. Finally, seeing children from different countries progress from not understanding Mandarin to being able to speak fluently after attending Mandarin classes fills me with an indescribable sense of fulfillment. This is also the motivation that keeps me moving forward.

I have been working with House on the Hill since 2020 and I truly enjoy being part of this wonderful school. I love the friendly and caring atmosphere. The staff are always supportive and the food is nice. The people here make every day enjoyable, and the environment is so helpful and nurturing for the children. It brings me great joy to see the children grow and learn in such a positive space.

I enjoy working at the school because of its supportive and caring team, positive environment, and the opportunity to help children grow and learn. Being part of the teaching team feels special, and I value the trust and learning opportunities from my colleagues. Watching children gain confidence, independence, and develop through practical activities is especially rewarding.
