Our Parent Support Group (PSG) is integral to our school community, actively organising social events and encouraging parental involvement both in and out of school.
Through regular communication channels such as parent-teacher meetings and circulars, we prioritise parent engagement and ensure families stay informed. These updates provide valuable insights into each child’s progress and classroom experiences, helping parents extend their child’s learning journey at home in meaningful ways.
Guiding Emotional Growth with Thoughtful Intention
We nurture grace and courtesy through daily routines, helping children cultivate respect, empathy and kindness. Through practical lessons and everyday interactions — such as greeting others, taking turns, using polite language, and caring for their environment — children practise essential social skills in real-world contexts. These experiences help children develop a strong moral compass, foster self-discipline, and build the confidence needed for positive relationships.
These practices are closely aligned with the ECDA Nurturing Early Learners (NEL) Framework, which emphasises self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship building, and responsible decision-making. By integrating Grace and Courtesy with the NEL framework, we support children in knowing themselves, managing their emotions, understanding others, forming friendships, and making thoughtful choices. Together, these approaches create a nurturing foundation for developing empathy, character and social-emotional skills children need to thrive — both inside and outside the classroom.
