A graduate of Peking University’s School of International Relations, Wu Jing leads House on the Hill in both overall direction and daily operations. An avid lover of calligraphy and photography, she is deeply passionate about early childhood education and firmly believes in the Montessori method, where each child possesses unique talents waiting to be developed.

Ms Mira has been a dedicated early childhood educator since 2005, bringing over two decades of experience in teaching, curriculum development, and preschool leadership. She holds a Diploma in Pre-School Education (Teaching) and a Specialist Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education (Leadership), with leadership training completed in 2015.

Having taught in both local and international school settings, she brings a rich understanding of diverse educational approaches, including thematic teaching, inquiry-based learning, and process drama. Since joining House on the Hill in 2017, she has drawn on these experiences to create meaningful learning opportunities that inspire curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.

Guided by her strong belief in every child’s potential and natural desire to learn, Ms Mirah is committed to nurturing independence, confidence, and resilience through exploration and discovery.

Through her leadership, she strives to create an environment where children feel empowered to embrace challenges, develop a lifelong love of learning, and approach the world with courage and joy.

With her vibrant, friendly and nurturing personality, Nurul brings over 30 years of experience in Singapore’s early childhood education industry — including 10 years as a principal at another Montessori preschool — before joining the House on the Hill Balmoral team. A passionate and dedicated educator, she holds a Bachelor of Science, a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and a Diploma from Modern Montessori International.

Ms Sunshine has been a valued member of House on the Hill since 2012, bringing over 14 years of experience and dedication to early childhood education. She holds Diplomas in Early Childhood Education, Leadership, and the Montessori Method of Education.

Her professional journey reflects a deep commitment to educational excellence and continuous growth. Progressing from Teacher to Senior Teacher, she was appointed Principal of the Pasir Panjang centre before taking on the leadership of Hollandse Club from its establishment. In 2026, she assumed the role of Cluster Principal, overseeing both Hollandse Club and Balmoral Crescent.

For Ms Sunshine, being an educator is both a privilege and a responsibility — an opportunity to shape the foundations of a child’s development and nurture the potential within every individual. She believes that exceptional education begins with educators who are passionate, reflective, and empowered to grow.

Guided by Montessori principles, her leadership focuses on inspiring educators, strengthening educational quality, and building meaningful partnerships with families. She is committed to creating environments where children are respected, encouraged to develop independence, and inspired to embrace learning with confidence and curiosity.

Ms Naomi has been a valued member of House on the Hill since November 2013, bringing over a decade of experience and dedication to early childhood education. She holds an Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY) and an Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Care and Education (ACECCE).

Having progressed from Senior Teacher to Curriculum Lead for the Playgroup and Pre-Nursery programme, and now Deputy Principal, she brings extensive classroom experience, curriculum expertise, and a deep understanding of children’s development to her leadership role.

Guided by the Montessori philosophy, Ms Naomi believes in respecting every child as a capable and unique individual. She is committed to nurturing independence, curiosity, and confidence in children, while supporting educators in creating thoughtful, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences.

Her leadership reflects a genuine passion for children, a commitment to educational excellence, and the collaborative spirit of House on the Hill.

Ms Biyah has been a dedicated early childhood educator since 2005, bringing over two decades of experience in teaching, curriculum development, and preschool leadership. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education, professional leadership qualifications, and a Diploma in Montessori Education.

Her Montessori journey began in 2009, inspired by a deep appreciation for its child-centred philosophy. Since moving into preschool management in 2012 and joining House on the Hill in 2018, she has combined her educational expertise with thoughtful leadership to foster a nurturing and enriching learning environment.

Passionate about outdoor learning and holistic human development, Ms Biyah believes that meaningful experiences, exploration, and connection with nature are essential to nurturing children’s independence, curiosity, and intrinsic motivation to learn.

Through her leadership, she strives to create an environment where children develop confidence, a strong sense of self, and a lifelong desire to learn, while inspiring educators to grow alongside them.

Ms Hafizah brings over two decades of experience in early childhood education and has been a dedicated member of House on the Hill since 2018. She holds Diplomas in Preschool Teaching, Early Childhood Care and Education (Leadership), and Montessori Teaching, as well as a Professional Certificate in Infant Care.

Her journey with House on the Hill has included classroom teaching, leading the Montessori NIDO programme, and mentoring educators. These experiences have shaped her deep understanding of children’s developmental needs and the importance of providing a strong foundation from infancy through the preschool years.

Guided by the Montessori philosophy, Ms Hafizah believes that every child is naturally curious, capable, and eager to learn when given the freedom and support to develop at their own pace.

Through her leadership, she is committed to nurturing independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning, while empowering her team to provide thoughtful, consistent, and high-quality education from NIDO through Kindergarten.

Marilyn is a graduate of the National University of Singapore and holds an International Montessori Diploma from the London Montessori Centre. With over 20 years of experience in preschool education, she was instrumental in turning the House on the Hill vision into reality. Together with the founders, she shares a commitment to raising the standards of early childhood education.
